Ceit – Ivo Tramontina Educational Center

CEIT occupies former industrial pavilions in the downtown area of Carlos Barbosa. The revitalization of these historic spaces in 2018 included an architectural project to accommodate new uses: an area for education - equipped with classrooms and a robotics laboratory, a wellness space for employees [for physical and leisure activities], rooms for the administrative sector and corporate functions of the Group, an auditorium, event spaces with a cafeteria, and restrooms.

The wayfinding challenge was to address a context with two spatial scales: the common areas have the scale of a building, while the circulation between them is wide and follows the concept of a public road. Another important requirement was to seek materials suitable for the industrial revitalization architecture.

The result is a wayfinding project with a significant visual impact that effectively guides and enhances the areas with personality.
