HAPPYTIME - AUTOMOTIVE PET CHAIR

The Happytime pet chair was developed to transport pets safely and comfortably during car journeys - with the additional benefit of elevating them to enjoy the external view.

Happytime is made of rotomolded polymer - a recyclable, safe, and easy-to-clean material. A practical solution to make pet travel more enjoyable.

The motivation behind Happytime was the realization of the need to transport pets at a height closer to the window, as they enjoy seeing the view and feel uncomfortable when confined to the car seat.

From the start, we were guided by reports from pet owners, through research conducted with over 50 users. We identified a predominant profile: owners of small pets [3kg to 7kg], demanding products that are easy to clean and caring about the freedom and well-being of their pets.

During the project development, we went through various prototyping stages, from cardboard mockups to volumetric concepts to resin prototypes for tests with the animals. Researching safety standards for pet transportation in cars and, in the absence of a specific technical standard, we identified suppliers that guaranteed robustness and the use of suitable materials. The choice of colors was also careful, and we opted for graphite and gray tones that harmonize with car interiors.

As a result of the entire process, we present Happytime: a durable product, discreet in the car environment, that meets the expectations of pet owners. An appropriate solution for transporting pets with comfort, safety, and fun!
