The Challenge

The São Paulo based company Pata a Pata wanted to launch a product for identification of dogs and cats, with the aim of solving theft problems as well as to facilitate the access to the Pata a Pata Portal, which stores information - for veterinary use - related to the clinical and behavioral history of the animal.


ZON created the product, the packaging and the name PLIN. The product was designed to function as an accessory to various types of leashes. The concept of the packaging explores the NFC technology built into the tags and has simple visual to clearly demonstrate the product's attributes. The orange and violet colors used on the packaging stand out at the POS, while images of the pets [dogs and cats] suggest the use of the tags for both species.
